| Bio: | I grew up near Santa Cruz, California. Gaming, training horses and fixing cars in the redwoods. I did the College thing in Chico. I live out in Concord California now with my wife and son. I like to build stuff (welding, calligraphy, woodworking, painting, and converting my 1950 Cape Cod into a Victorian cottage), and make pretty things when I have the time. I like to get out to europe every few years. I enjoyed armored combat in the SCA for many years. I was in a band called "Wooing Molly" for six years playing Irish and Scottish folk music....and I love maps. I feed my soul by listening to music all that I can, and especially on KPIG whenever I can arrange it.
Don't be offended if I drop you from my friend list. It is not a deliberate or punitive action on my part. I originally started this list so I could keep track of friends I don't get to see very often (usually because of geography). It also makes it easier to read in short bursts. I may not be interested in everything you write about, and I don't expect you to be into everything that hops off of my keyboard either. No worries. I write about topics of general interest to myself, music, morals, madness, values, questions and perceptions.
I don't use any of the filters here, and anything I write here I realize is a public forum, and open to whomever is interested or might be bumping around cruising various friend's-of-friend's journals. If you really need to tell me something confidential, send me a private email or take me to dinner (I love Thai and Indian). What I write here is open to debate and I don't mind chatting about ideas and concepts, and I don't insist on agreement, but I don't feel forced to agree with things I feel are false. |
